About David
Over 20 years in the chair.
David Anthony Hiller is a hairstylist, educator, and artist. He spent two decades as a stylist at Bumble and bumble. Along the way he wrote curriculum for Bumble and bumble University, mentored apprentices, and trained advanced cutting technique for stylists across the U.S. and Canada.
Backstage and editorial, his work runs from New York Fashion Week to the Met Gala, collaborating with leading designers, creative teams, and talent. He also coaches professional stylists in public speaking, helping people find their own voice and communicate with clarity.
In the chair at Benjamin Salon, he specializes in razor cutting, scissor cuts, and barbering, techniques chosen for your texture. The result: tailored, effortless hair with an editorial edge.

Benjamin Salon, 267 Mulberry Street, in Nolita, between Prince and Houston Streets. The closest trains are the 6 at Spring Street and the N, R, and W at Prince Street.

How much does a haircut cost?
Cut & Blow Dry is $240, Barbering is $165, Blow Dry · Style is $120, and a Bang Trim · Clean Up is $45.

Do you offer house calls or private appointments?
Yes. Private in-home haircuts and on-site corporate services are available across the New York City area, arranged directly with David.

Do you color hair?
David specializes in cutting and styling only. If you would like color, a colorist can be added to your visit at Benjamin Salon. Be sure to include the color session at time of initial booking.

Wednesday through Saturday, by appointment. Private and corporate services upon request.
